Parts arrived very quickly. Used large repair kit to rebuild an original 15ACR alternator with tight bearings and an intermittent electrical fault (no ignition light sometimes).. Getting the old corroded front bearing off the alternator shaft was difficult after 54 years of corrosion. I had to make a custom 3 leg puller and use temperature cycling between freezer and hot air gun. Once the front bearing was done,removing the rear bearing (with custom puller) and then reassembly with the new parts was straightforward. The original avalanche diode protection and interference protection capacitor were tested and then also refitted for completeness..The alternator is now back in the car and all working. Pleased with result.

Arrived really quickly. Good quality components. Would advise photographing wiring before commencing. Alternator now working better than before.

Good kit, quickly sent, but take care with the slipring when installing on shaft, the hole may need attention as mine undersize and cracked when pressed on....

Arrived in good time, price good. Had to clear out slip ring hole a little so it would push onto end of armature. An instruction sheet would have been helpful as would have saved note taking, drawings and photographs. Nice to have a functioning alternator again.
